Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident at Straiton Retail Park.
Police said they were in attendance at the scene of an accident in the busy car park in Loanhead at around 1pm on Christmas Eve.
The area is currently busy with Christmas shoppers, although officers are urging people to avoid it for the time being if possible.
Police Scotland Control Rooms took to social media to say: "Emergency services are currently dealing with a road traffic accident in the car park at Straiton Retail Park, Straiton Mains, Loanhead. Please avoid the area where possible."
Images taken at the scene appear to show a number of damaged vehicles, with police and fire crews in attendance.
