Stormzy brands Boris a 'f***ing p****' in impassioned speech backing Labour votes

Rapper Stormzy has issued a call to arms to his fans to vote for Labour and Jeremy Corbyn .

The grime artist admits he has never voted before in the impassioned speech, posted on social media.

He says before Jeremy Corbyn he had never trusted politicians but described the Labour leader as a "man of hope".

Stormzy blasted Boris Johnson as a "f***ing p****" but refused to call the Tory leader by his name.

And he called on his fans and everyone watching to make sure they voted before the 10pm deadline tonight.

In his powerful message Stormzy said: "Today it's very, very important that you vote.

"I know a lot of people are saying that but hear me out, the man is never wrong.

"The man has always looked at politicians and thought 'I don't trust you lot, you don't do anything for me or my community, or my circumstances, or my mum's circumstances.

"But for the first time in my 26 years there's a man who I trust and I wouldn't use my platform like this to say that if I didn't wholeheartedly think that.

"It's very clear as day, and clear cut, that Jeremy Corbyn is a man of hope, a man of justice, and a man of equality.

"The other guy is a f***ing p****, so go and use your vote."

Stormzy's influence on the election has already been felt when the Glastobury headliner took to social media to urge all his followers to register to vote.

His calls were met with a massive 351,000 spike in the number of people registering on the day of the deadline back in November.

He has also previously described Boris Johnson as a "sinister man with a long record of lying and policies that have absolutely no regard for the people that our government should be committed to helping".

The Croydon-born star has been vocal in his backing for Labour throughout the election campaign.

Stormzy asked voters to throw their support behind the party in order to bring about "people-led change" and bring an end to austerity.

He famously performed the lyric "f**k Boris" during his set at Glastonbury this year.

His set, which was broadcast live and uncensored on BBC Two, included track Cold, which features the line: "So tell    Boris Johnson   , ‘Suck your mum!’”

And on Vossi Bop, he raps “F*** the government and f*** Boris" before criticising the failure to get a Brexit deal and keep campaign promises.

Polling stations are open until 10pm tonight, with the first exit polls predicting the result of the election due out shortly afterwards.

The full results will be revealed tomorrow.
