Stormzy ahead of TRNSMT: 'It’s Glasgow bro of course I'm having a f***ing drink'

TRNSMT kicks off tomorrow and Friday's headliner, Stormzy, is clearly already in the mood to enjoy Glasgow.

Responding to a tweet from a fan who is travelling 400 miles to see the grime artist, Stormzy confirmed he was ready to live like a Glaswegian.

Tweeting out from his main account, the performer said: "It's Glasgow bro, of course I'm having a f***ing drink."

Fans were delighted with the message, as a couple asked if he'll be trying the city's infamous Buckfast drink.

Stormzy is one of three main headliners across the TRNSMT weekend taking place in Glasgow Green. Sunday will see George Ezra grace the festival, while Catfish and the Bottlemen will end Saturday's musical performances.

Other major bands at the festival include Lewis Capaldi, Bastille and Years & Years.

Tickets are sold out for the Sunday, though some remain for Friday and Saturday of the festival.
