Storm Malik has forced over 50 trains from Glasgow Queen Street to be cancelled today.
Strong winds have battered Scotland from the early hours and Glasgow has been issued a yellow weather warning for Saturday January 29.
Glaswegians have been issued advice from SP Energy Network as residents might experience power cuts as wind gusts remain high until later afternoon.

ScotRail urged customers to check their journeys this morning, saying that Storm Malik has caused a lot of disruption.
They added: "We have a number of fallen trees reported, as a result of high winds, with speed restrictions in place on many routes too."
Buses have been put in place at Falkirk Grahamston, Perth, Stirling, Queen Street, Edinburgh and a minibus shuttle is available at Falkirk High - Falkirk Grahamston.
ScotRail also mention on their website that train services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk High will be reduced to an hourly service.
For Gourock & Wemyss Bay to Glasgow services, there have been reports of a tree on the line at Port Glasgow and both lines are currently closed.
According to Scotrail, 57 train services have been cancelled throughout the day from Glasgow Queen Street to cities and towns including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Alloa, Inverness and Dunblane.
This comes as over 200 trains have been cancelled throughout Scotland.
The yellow weather warning for Glasgow is in place until 3pm today.
