Drivers are being warned not to make unnecessary journeys after a truck was blown on its side by ferocious winds battering Ireland.
The dramatic footage was taken in Co Galway in Ireland which is currently suffering the full force of Storm Jorge.
Luckily the driver wasn't injured but police have reminded everyone to stick to the weather warnings in place, reports Irish Mirror .
The footage was captured today on the N59 at Maam Cross in Connemara at about 1pm.
Storm Jorge has been causing chaos across Ireland with strong winds forecast as well as rain, sleet and snow.
A red wind warning has been issued for Galway and Clare, with westerly winds set to reach speeds of 60mph and strong gusts of up to 90mph this afternoon.
However the storm has not put off one swimmer, who was captured bracing the freezing conditions this morning.
Westport local Tadgh Mc Nally said: "I’m swimming here for the last forty five years here in Westport.
"I just finished a night shift and said I’d jump in before the storm arrived, it’s good for the immune system."
Coastal counties in the west have been the hardest hit by the storm with motorists being urged to watch out for loose debris on the roads.
River levels are 1.6m higher than normal in some parts with acres of farmland under water.
Meanwhile in the United Kingdom, Storm Jorge brought a night of heavy rainfall with the Met Office issuing a series of weather warnings from this afternoon until tonight.
There are currently four weather warnings in place for wind and snow stretching from Cornwall to the north of Scotland to Northern Ireland.
The weather doesn't look set to get any better tomorrow with the warnings remaining in place all day.
Coastal communities are also being warned that coastal routes and seafronts could be affected by large waves being blown onto the shore.
The UK has been hit with a number of storms this month, with flood hit towns battling the wettest February on record.
More than 600 homes were flooded in South Wales as the police declared a critical incident in the region this morning and in East Yorkshire photos show locals being rescued from flood homes by canoe after rivers burst their banks.
