Storm Huntley marks one week of motherhood and asks 'when will manual arrive?'

Storm Huntley has celebrated one week of motherhood with an adorable snap of her and son Otis.

The Jeremy Vine presenter and her husband Kerr Okan welcomed their son just last week and has joked she's still waiting on the instruction manual. Taking to Instagram late on last night, Storm posted a cute photograph of her and baby Otis enjoying some cuddles.

Storm wrote: "Exactly one week of being a Mum. Just wondering if anyone knows when I can expect the manual to arrive?" And many fans flocked to the comments.

One wrote: "Think they’ve ran out, I’ve been waiting 5 years for mine! congratulations on baby Otis!"

Another said: "If only there was one. I’ve discovered over the years that we’re all winging it really and our parents were too! You look so happy, and your little baba is lovely."

Whilst one wrote: "No manual, the best advice I ever got was “just cuddle your baby….”. I was freaking out about work, dishes, dusting, but really all that mattered was hugging my baby boy."

Storm has been updating her fans on her first week as a mum and even shared some gifts baby Otis received from her Jeremy Vine co-star. She shared a sweet snap of baby Otis peacefully lying on top of a string of books, including The Gruffalo, Colin Cook's Favourite Book and Cave Baby, that Vine sent for the wee tot.

Storm captioned the post: "If your IQ is truly dependent on how many books were in your house growing up then The Vines have given Otis the best start."

She also returned to work with baby Otis and appeared on the Channel 5 show to speak about her birthing experience. Jeremy asked his colleague whether she bonded immediately with her son as soon as he made an appearance.

But Storm teased: "Well, no, I was on an operating table, which isn't the best place for a bonding scenario." Unusually, the star ended up going into labour the morning of her C-section, revealing she was having contractions five minutes apart as I she walking in to the operating theatre.

Then asked if there was a possibility to change her birthing plan at the last minute, Storm explained that the thought of giving birth naturally suddenly 'terrified' her.

"They said do you want to do it naturally and I thought I'm here now, I'm about 20 mins from meeting my baby let's go for it, I've got my head around it - so we went for the C-section." The presenter is married to Scots singer Kerr Okan.

Kerr from Motherwell, is the lead singer for Scots rock band The LaFontaines, who have played at the likes of TRNSMT, T in the Park and the 02 Academy. The pair got engaged back in 2020 and Kerr proposed with a stunning vintage cluster ring which she proudly showed off.

Due to the pandemic, the pair got married in a private ceremony in Loch Lomond but then threw a huge party in Kerr's parent's home in Motherwell. Shortly after their fairytale wedding, the couple announced that they had a 'bun in the oven' with a quirky Instagram post.

A few weeks later, they announced that they were expecting a baby boy as they shared a video of Kerr kicking a football which revealed blue smoke.

Storm's pregnancy wasn't plain sailing however, as she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes whilst carrying her son and then later caught covid.

And last week, the star revealed that her little boy had arrived sharing an adorable snap of them shortly after he was born, announcing that they had called him Otis Abi Okan.

She wrote: "So this is the little person who will forever hold my heart in his hands…Otis Abi Okan Born 9:17am. 7.7 pounds."
