Storm Huntley and Kerr Okan celebrated their wedding reception with garden party in Motherwell

They said 'I do' at a stunning ceremony in Loch Lomond on Thursday but Jeremy Vine presenter Storm Huntley and LaFontaines singer Kerr Okan opted for something a bit closer to home for their wedding reception.

The couple, who got engaged last year, decided to celebrate their marriage in style by hosting their wedding reception in Kerr's parent's house in Motherwell a few days after their private ceremony.

A gorgeous marquee, which came with a huge disco ball and dance floor, graced the back garden alongside some funky garden furniture made from fake grass.

A hand-painted sign also pointed guests in the right direction of things such as 'love', 'dancing', 'food' and 'drinks'.

Storm drafted in the help of events company Blue Parrot Events Group to transform the garden, ready for partying.

On her Instagram, she wrote: "Who says you can't create a fairytale wedding in a garden in Motherwell? Couldn't have done it without these guys though! @blueparroteventsgroupltd."

In another video shared on Instagram, the new Mr and Mrs Okan could be seen on the dance floor looking smitten as 50 Cent's 'In Da Club' blasted in the background.

Last year, shortly after they got engaged, the pair joked that they would consider getting married in McDonalds.

Following Kerr's proposal, the couple photoshopped a picture of them getting hitched at the fast food restaurant as Storm wrote: "So @KerrOkan and I are considering a Maccy Ds wedding? What do you think?"

Kerr replied: "It's not a McFlurry if it's made in a hurry."

However, the happy couple opted for something a bit more traditional in the end as Storm showed off her stunning wedding dress and Kerr his black suit as they posed atop a rock for Scots photographer Euan Robertson in Scotland.

Kerr wrote: "Mr & Mrs Okan."

Storm shared another picture of the happy couple adoringly gazing into one another's eyes with Ben Lomond in the background and wrote: "I still feel like I’m going to wake up from the best dream I’ve ever had!"
