Storm Gonzalo likely to hit Windward Islands on Saturday

Tropical storm Gonzalo is expected to begin affecting portions of the Windward Islands on Saturday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Thursday.

The storm is located about 885 miles (1,425 km) east of the southern Windward Islands, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour (100 km/h), the Miami-based weather forecaster added.
