Storm Franklin: Bristol hour-by-hour forecast as storm hammers the UK

The third named storm in the space of a week is currently hammering England with more wind and rain. Storm Franklin is the seventh named storm to hit the UK since late November.

A Met Office yellow weather warning is currently in place across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and parts of Scotland due to the winds and also the fact that trees and other exposed elements were weakened by the previous storms, meaning that they're at a higher risk of falling.

There is also widespread disruption across the rail network - operators have issued a 'do not travel' warning amid speed restrictions, as well as trains and crew out of place. A flood alert has also been issued for the Severn Estuary this morning.
