A couple have shared their devastation after Storm Dennis left their new café submerged in sewage water.
Darren and Emma Hughes have run the Canal View Café in Resolven, Neath Port Talbot since only last November, and were shocked when their new business became the latest victim of the flooding which has swept across Wales.
Images show the full extent of the damage, which Darren and Emma say will cost "thousands" to repair, Wales Online reports.
"The café has been wiped out, the river bank burst and the water is 5ft high," Darren said.
The 46-year-old says that the premises will now need a total refurb.
He added: "The whole place will need ripping out and replacing, the sewage water has gone into the cookers.
"My wife and the whole family have been very upset. The car park has also been damaged, there's potholes everywhere.
"We have spent a lot of money getting the business up and running we are devastated but we just have to try and move on and get on with it.
"We don't know how long we are going to be shut for, it could be weeks or months.
"Everyone has been so supportive online."
The Upper Boat Inn, near Pontypridd, is also submerged under water and is thought to have lost thousands due to the storm.
Storm Dennis has been causing damage across Wales with several areas badly flooded from heavy rain overnight.
On Sunday South Wales Police declared the flooding in south Wales a "major incident".
The Met Office also issued a red 'danger to life' warning on Sunday as river levels continue to rise.
Sadly, a man's body has a man's body has also been discovered after he entered a river and was washed away during the storm.
