The weather is causing travel chaos across Edinburgh and the Lothians this morning, with a yellow weather warning in place for snow and ice until late this evening.
Tuesday saw the weather warning upgraded to amber by the Met Office after heavy snowfall throughout the day as Storm Darcy blasted the country with blizzard-like conditions.
Motorists are already being urged to avoid the Edinburgh City Bypass this morning and have been warned of "very difficult driving conditions".
Traffic Scotland said: "# A720 around Hermiston Gait/ Baberton Very difficult driving conditions. Gritters are in the traffic trying to clear the area but this will take time. Please # Avoid if possible."
A lorry has already become stuck in the snow on the busy bypass heading eastbound, which is blocking one lane and causing delays back to Hermiston Gate.
Meanwhile, the council-run Edin Travel News made locals aware of "widespread disruption on the roads around Edinburgh this morning."
It comes as a raft of Lothian Buses services have been delayed with diversions in place due to severe weather - you can find all affected routes here - while Edinburgh Trams has suspended all services due to the conditions.

ScotRail is also experiencing issues, reporting "disruption across the Central Belt this morning, with points failures at Newbridge affecting Glasgow - Edinburgh via Falkirk and Milngavie/Helensburgh Central - Edinburgh services".
In Midlothian, the council has urged people to only travel if "absolutely necessary" as 80 extra staff are been called in to assist on the roads and clearing paths.
