Scots skiers have been snapped descending on Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park to make the most of snowfall brought in by Storm Darcy.
Using skis, snowboards and "anything from their homes", revellers flocked to the area last night after the city was blanketed in snow.
Freezing conditions blanketed the city in snow over night, turning the West End park into a scene from the Alps.
However, the images prompted concern from some residents over the lack of social distancing in place.

Dozens of people were pictured huddled up along the park’s banks, despite the recommended two metre distance.
In one image, a wall of people can be seen waiting to take their turn to slide down a snowy hill.
While another shows a throng of people stood silhouetted against the city lights.
The snaps were taken at around 10pm by local Antonio Grosos, who said: “Lots of people took the slopes with skis, snowboards and anything in their house to enjoy the snow.
“There was not too much social distancing.”

Some residents were snapped kitted out in full ski gear using the park as a makeshift run.
While others opted for a more DIY approach, using baking trays and plastic bags as homemade sledges.
The snowfall and icy conditions caused travel havoc, with disruptions ongoing.
