Storm Callum weather LIVE: Flood warnings in place for Scotland and Wales as heavy rain batters UK

Storm Callum is likely to cause further disruption across the UK on Saturday, as heavy downpours continue. 

An amber warning for rain remains in place for south Wales in 6pm. Flooding and power cuts are likely in the region. 

Network Rail is expecting disruption to train services throughout Saturday and passengers are advised to plan ahead.

The Environment Agency has asked members of the public to take extra care near the coast and to avoid driving through flood water.
Met Eireann has issued a yellow rain warning for counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow. 

 
 
The Brecon Beacons in south Wales is experiencing particularly high rainfall.
The village of Libanus has received 182 mm of rain in the last 48 hours, more than the total of the region's rainfall from the past month. 

Speed restrictions have been imposed on many rail routes, causing another morning of travel disruption.  

Network Rail have said there will be reduced Virgin services between London Euston, Birmingham New Street, and Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Roads in parts of Wales are "impassable" as the River Wye and the River Usk begin to swell after heavy rainfall. 

Overnight several police forces have reported accidents on the roads due to surface water.
29 flood warnings and 41 flood alerts are now in place in Wales, where heavy rain continues to fall. 

The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for parts of the Dorset coast, as well as 58 flood alerts across England.
An amber warning for rain remains in place on Saturday for parts of south Wales, until 6 pm.
 
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for much of the rest of the country as well as parts of Scotland and the north west and south east of England.
