Storm Barra: Video footage shows gazebo ‘flying loose' outside Dublin pub

A large gazebo was captured being lifted by the wind outside a popular Dublin pub this afternoon during Storm Barra.

The piece of garden furniture was seen blowing across a main road near the Goblet in Beaumont.

It’s expected that there will be further severe and damaging winds in association with Storm Barra.

Damaging and possibly disruptive wind gusts will persist through the evening and night, along with frequent squally showers.

It is set to be a cold night with lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees.

Meanwhile, it will be cold and windy tomorrow with bright spells and scattered showers, some sleet and snow over the mountains. Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in strong northwest winds.
