Greater Manchester will remain under a yellow weather warning until midnight, as Storm Barra continues to grip the nation.
A warning of strong winds will remain place for the of the whole region until midnight tonight, December 7.
The Met Office has warned that the weather could continue to impact evening travel and cause damage to trees.

A yellow warning of snow is also in place until midnight for parts of Rochdale, Oldham and Tameside
The Met Office has told people to expect delays to road, rail and ferry transport, with bus and train services also thought to be affected.
It has also warned that people across the country could face short term power cuts.
Gusts of between 45-50 mph are expected right through this evening.

However the impact of Storm Barra is expected to tail off after midnight - with no weather warnings in place tomorrow.
Earlier this afternoon, the harsh weather conditions saw the Chill Factore shut after a section of its roof blew off in high winds.

Across Greater Manchester this evening, it will remain fairly dry, with a chances of rainfall shortly before midnight.
Into tomorrow, December 7, there will be a high chance of heavy rainfall throughout the early hours of the morning and into the afternoon.
Temperatures are unlikely to reach above 5 degrees tomorrow.
