Donald Trump was involved in a bizarre Twitter blunder earlier on Sunday when he accidentally tagged a Leeds United supporter in one of his posts.
The outgoing President of the United States slammed Fox News for inviting Pete Buttigieg, mayor of South Bend, Indiana, onto their channel.
Trump has been known to refer to Buttigieg as 'Alfred E. Neuman' due to his supposed physical resemblance to the Mad Magazine character, but mistakenly tagged a Leeds fan with a Twitter handle resembling the name in his message.
The user, who we have chosen to keep anonymous, admits in their biography on the site that they are a 'lifelong Leeds United fan', with other interests confirmed as 'music, boxing and bike racing'.
Whites supporters reacted with hilarity to the blunder, ridiculing Trump for daring to take on the club's fanbase.
@LufcFelix : In one of Donald Trump's tweets, we are genuinely massive.
@jimimanovsteel : Good job this #lufc fan is protected... Or his phone would be melting. Donald Trump thinks he's a mayor in the US.
@Tom_Hinchcliffe : Leeds United are arguing with Donald Trump on Twitter. We can stop the simulation now.
@amoslufc : You take on a Leeds United fan at your peril.
@SkyDaveLeeds : ALL LEEDS AREN'T WE?
@Le_Roque_Show : We’re not famous anymore.
@GenericHandle18 : Million MAGA March??? Leeds would have taken more.
@Murphmeister : Respect the Presidency, respect COVID and those who it continued to affect and has killed, concede, get out of town and stop picking on Leeds United fans.
@Oskini9 : Trump vs Leeds - easy three points!
@carl_carritt : You do know that @LUFC fans own twitter. Side before self.
@AlistairK : #lufc would certainly have taken more than the crowd Trump got at his inauguration.
