The presses for the Hull Daily Mail ran for the final time in the city yesterday. From today, the paper's print run has switched across the Humber to Grimsby where the Mail's sister paper, the Grimsby Telegraph, is printed. The papers' owner, Northcliffe Press, closed the Hull plant, with the loss of 42 jobs, because of its age and limited colour availability. Oh yes, and it saves money, of course!
