Alexander Milosevic has hit back at a Nottingham Forest fan spreading rumours about him online following his Reds exit.
The Swedish left the City Ground this week "by mutual consent", having not featured for the first team under manager Sabri Lamouchi this season.
The decision sparked plenty of reaction on social media, with some supporters surprised by his departure.
One Twitter user posted: "To all the fans who are confused about Milosevic: he had disciplinary issues and Forest were right to get rid. End of."
This prompted an angry reaction from Milosevic, who replied: "Stop spreading s*** please.
"Talking about a player who barely missed a training, who never had a fine for coming late or even forgetting stuff on the pitch.
"I’ve been reading some of ur tweets and I never seen so much s***.
"Normally I dont care but you try to put fake stuff about alot of players."
The original tweet has since been deleted.
Some Forest fans leapt to Milosevic's defence.
Rich Salter tweeted: "Alex thank you for your commitment to #NFFC you will be sadly missed all the best my friend."
Scott Cresswell said: "What’s wrong with simply wishing a player well when it doesn’t work out and they move on? @MilosevicAlex was always decent when I saw him for us, we just have 35 other CBs on the books. All the best."
