'Stop messing around' - Tottenham fans send clear transfer message after Alexander Sorloth links

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to speculation linking the club with a move for striker Alexander Sorloth.

According to reports, Spurs are keen to bring the forward to north London to provide competition for Harry Kane, with RB Leipzig also credited with an interest.

Sorloth is contracted to Crystal Palace, but is currently on loan with Turkish club Trabzonspor, who have the option to make the deal permanent.

Upon hearing the rumours, Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts and emotions. Here is a selection of what they had to say.

Jose Mourinho on subbing Dele, Kane's training and a new striker

Ash: “Sorloth serious?! I can't say his time at Crystal Palace went well.”

Jfet: “Sørloth? Lets face facts. If we'd had Everton's owners, Cavani would already be a Spurs player.”

Luiz Fernando Rodas: “Would be a good signing tbf. But this team needs so much more.”

Spursline: “Pay the money for Milik and stop messing around, buying average players will not solve the issues.”

Dean: “This striker will not challenge Kane, he's not good enough.”

Pabs-Evs: “He didn’t make it at Palace. They kept Benteke instead.”

Mat D7: “Sorloth is not the answer. Couldn't cut it at Palace.”
