What's better than carbs?
Carbs WRAPPED IN carbs with a side helping of carbs - and one cafe in Edinburgh's city centre has created a dish which is exactly that.
Scran, a bistro and café located in the North Bridge Arcade, just off Cockburn Street, has invented what can only be described as the cheese-filled wrap of our dreams - and it's no surprise that it's going viral on Instagram.
Brace yourself for this description - their new wrap filling on their lockdown menu is Mac and Cheese with crispy chicken, parmesan (because MORE CHEESE) and chili jam, rolled perfectly so that you get an equal balance of all ingredients with every bite.
You get all of that for £7.95 with a side of fries thrown in because you definitely need more carbs with your comfort food wrap.
People have been losing their minds over the aptly named cafe's iconic mac and cheese wraps on Instagram but the cheesy sandwich substitute is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Scran's offerings.
Other mouth-watering dishes at the bistro include Nachos burgers, loaded fries, pancake stacks and chocolate bar milkshakes (I'll take three of the Kinder Bueno shake thanks).
The wee cafe offers specials every week as well. Last week saw loaded fries - chips stacked with sweet chili chicken, macaroni and fried crispy onions.

Scran are open from 10am till 7.30pm every day except Tuesday (everyone needs a day off after all).
