A bomb disposal robot has been deployed at a security alert in Co Antrim.
The machine was pictured this morning operating behind police lines in the village.
The PSNI have not released many details as yet.
A spokesman said: “Police in Lisburn are currently at the scene of a security alert at Stoneyford Village following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area. A number of roads have been closed and diversions are in place.
“A number of homes have also been evacuated whilst an examination of the object is carried out. There are no further details at present.”
