Two men were seriously hurt after a stolen motorbike ended up under a bus after a crash.
Emergency services were called to a bus stop on Lower Lane, near Aintree Hospital, on Friday at 5.25pm.
Police said a stolen Red Yamaha MT07 had crashed into the bus stop and the bike came to a stop underneath a bus.
Two men who were believed to have been on the bike were seriously injured in the crash, police said.
In a statement, police said: "Two men believed to have been on the bike, a 23-year-old and a 28-year-old, were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
"They remain in hospital in a stable condition.
"The motorbike was later identified as a stolen motorbike.
