Stolen items worth ₹9 lakh recovered from habitual offender

The K.G. Halli police on Monday arrested a 38-year-old habitual offender and recovered stolen valuables worth ₹9 lakh from him.

The accused Akram Nazeer was caught by the alert patrolling police who noticed him moving suspiciously near a pawn shop.

The police frisked him to recover a gold chain and brought him to the station for questioning. He then confessed that he had burgled a house in his neighbourhood and stole gold valuables worth ₹9 lakh.

The police recovered the stolen valuables.
