Dublin gardai returned a stolen gucci watch to a city centre jewellers after it was taken in a "distraction theft".
The watch was stolen from Weir & Sons Jewellers on Grafton Street last week
Garda Philip and Garda Chris from Pearse Street Street Crime Unit returned the watch which was found during search operations.
Weir & Sons told Dublin Live: "We are beyond grateful for the hard work and quick response by the Gardaí in retrieving the stolen watch.
"We had it back within 24 hours of it been taken, and we can’t thank them enough."
Gardai posted on social media on Sunday: "Gardaí from Pearse Street Street Crime Unit returned a Gucci watch to Weir Jewellers on Grafton Street after it was stolen during distraction theft earlier this week.
"Garda Philip and Garda Chris returned the watch after it was recovered during search operations."
