Two men are being hunted by police after the suspected stolen car they were travelling in smashed into a wall in Woolton.
The grey BMW 525 was spotted by officers on patrol on Woolton Hill Road at around 1.15am this morning, where it was seen being driven erratically.
A short time later the car mounted the pavement and crashed into a wall at the junction of Bower Road.
Two men are believed to have fled from the BMW, which police suspect to have been stolen.
Three men in their teens were treated at the scene for minor injuries by ambulance staff.
Merseyside Police are urging anyone who witnessed what happened or has CCTV of the incident to contact them.
Roads Policing Inspector Carl McNulty said: "At this stage, we suspect that the vehicle involved in this collision may be stolen.
"We'd like to hear from anyone who was near to the Bower Road / Woolton Hill Road junction this morning, or from any businesses on Woolton Hill Road which may have vital CCTV footage.
"If you know anything about the BMW's direction of travel prior to the incident please let us know."
