Stolen bikes in Edinburgh: Police share pictures of bikes people need to claim in Leith

Edinburgh police have issued pictures of stolen bikes that they have recovered in Leith that no one has claimed.

There has been a problem with bike theft in the area, with the police recently confirming that a person had been arrested in connection with stealing five bikes.

But now the police are appealing to the public to have the bikes returned to their rightful owners and this is what they look like.

Police Scotland said: "Do you recognise these bikes?

"Operation Curator Officers recovered these bikes in the Leith area while assisting with enquries into stolen property. These bikes are believed to have been stolen recently and we are looking to trace the owners.

"If you think any of these belong to you please contact 101 quoting incident 671 11/06/2020"
