Stocks in news: Airtel, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's, NTPC, Dixon Technologies

Markets remained under intense selling pressure on Tuesday, extending the ongoing corrective phase amid weak global cues and persistent macroeconomic concerns. On the technical front, the Nifty is now approaching the gap support zone near the 23,150 level following the breakdown from its earlier consolidation range. Meanwhile, the previous support level of 23,800 is likely to act as a strong resistance hurdle in the event of any rebound.

In today's trade, shares of Airtel, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's, NTPC, Dixon Technologies among others will be in focus due to various news developments.

Airtel, TVS, TaMo, PFC, DLF, Cipla, HPCL, Kaynes

Shares of Airtel, TVS Motor, Tata Motors, PFC, DLF, Cipla, HPCL and Kaynes will be in focus as the companies will announce their fourth quarter results.

Dr Reddy's

Dr Reddy's Laboratories reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 221 crore in the March-ended quarter versus Rs 1,587 crore in the year ago period, implying an 86% fall. The company's revenue from operations in Q4FY26 was down 12% to Rs 7,516 crore versus Rs 8,506 crore posted by the company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Tata Power

Tata Power on Tuesday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 996 crore in the fourth quarter, which was down 4% year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 1,043 crore in the last year quarter. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.5 per share for the financial year ended March 2026. Revenue from operations fell 13% YoY to Rs 14,900 crore in the reporting March quarter, compared with Rs 17,096 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea said its board will meet to consider a proposal to raise funds through the issuance of equity shares and/or warrants on a preferential basis, subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals. The proposed fundraising comes at a time when investor sentiment around the company has improved sharply following a series of developments that eased concerns around its long-standing balance sheet stress and capital raising ability.

MTAR Technologies

MTAR Technologies reported a sharp rise in profit for the March quarter, driven by strong growth in revenue from operations and improved operating leverage across businesses. The Hyderabad-based precision engineering company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 44.28 crore for Q4, compared with Rs 13.72 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, marking a jump of around 223%.

IDFC First Bank

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday said it has arrested two former employees of an IDFC First Bank branch in Chandigarh in a money laundering case linked to the alleged embezzlement of Rs 590 crore in Haryana government funds, in addition to cheating some other entities.

REC

REC's consulting arm plans to enter the carbon markets business as an accredited carbon verification agency and has invited expressions of interest to empanel agencies under the Indian carbon market, which is expected to become operational in 2026.

NTPC

Power giant NTPC will soon submit its first feasibility study for a nuclear project with the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and seek its nod to go ahead with the plan, sources said. The approval will pave the way for NTPC to begin work on its first standalone nuclear project in India as the PSU is keen to achieve at least 2 GW of nuclear capacity by 2032.

Dixon Technologies

Dixon Technologies reported a consolidated net profit at Rs 256 crore in the March-ended quarter versus Rs 401 crore in the year-ago period, implying a 36% fall. The profit after tax (PAT) was attributable to the owners of the company. The company's revenue from operations in Q4FY26 was up 2% to Rs 10,511 crore versus Rs 10,293 crore posted by the company in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
