The Christmas pregame show on FOX Sports delivered a wonderful feature on the relationship between Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and his father, who passed away earlier this year.
Tom Rinaldi was his usual poignant self narrating the piece on what Alvin Jones meant to Aaron and his family before passing away due to COVID-19 related issues.
The piece is stirring throughout, explaining how the football on a necklace carrying Jones’ dad’s ashes was lost in the first game at Lambeau after Alvin Jones’ death. And eventually found hours after the game.
And do not miss the ending. It is a bittersweet touch.
