Secondary pupils returning to Stirling schools next week will require to observe two-metre distancing on school transport as well as in school.
Voluntary twice-weekly at-home testing will also be rolled out to senior pupils and school staff on Monday.
Some senior pupils along with nursery pupils and pupils in P1-P3 are set to return on Monday, February 22.
This follows first minister Nicola Sturgeon's announcement on February 16.
A limited number of senior Stirling secondary pupils will return to school on Monday to complete practical coursework.
And senior pupils will be expected to observe two-metre distancing when travelling to and from school.
A Scottish Government spokesperson said: "All secondary pupils will be required to observe two-metre physical distancing while in school and on school transport in the period immediately after the return. This is in addition to existing measures including the use of face coverings."

Testing will also be rolled out in Stirling's schools on Monday. Senior pupils and people who work in schools, early learning and childcare settings attached to schools will be offered at-home testing twice a week.
The majority of Stirling pupils will continue with remote learning until late March at the earliest.
Earlier this week the first minister said she thought it was "unlikely, at this stage, that there will be any further return to school before March 15."
In-school educational provision will continue for children from vulnerable families and the children of key workers.
