Still looking for Bears-Packers tickets? There’s a high price to pay

Bears fans who still haven’t gotten tickets for the opener against the Packers should be ready to pay some hefty prices. | Nam Y. Huh/AP

Yeah, everyone knows tickets to the Bears-Packers game are pricy, especially on the secondary market. But they’re far from the most expensive out there.

According to stats from the secondary ticket marketplace TickPick, the average price for a ticket to the NFL season-opener at Soldier Field is $560.54. Tickets on rival sites StubHub and Ticketmaster were listed as high as $3,599.

Yeah, that’s a lot. But even non-New Englanders can feel some sympathy (maybe) for Patriots fans. TickPick says the average secondary market ticket price for the Patriots-Steelers Week 1 matchup is $715.50.

The NFL Week 1 average is $237.22. If you’re just looking for a cheap ticket, the Cardinals-Lions has the lowest average price of $87.38 per ticket.
