Still Game crowned most loved TV series fans want to see return to screens

Scottish comedy series Still Game has taken the number one spot when it comes to the television show that people would love to see return the most - and we can't blame them.

The cult Scottish comedy series follows pensioners, Jack and Victor as they venture around the the fictional Craiglang set in our very own city with other iconic characters we all loved - and still do - including Navid, Winston, Methadone Mick, Boaby the Barman, and how could we forget the much-loved Isa - to name a few.

The series, which first launched back in September 2002 soon became a much-loved comedy and one that Scots held close to their hearts. And in July 2018, the BBC announced that Still Game would return for a ninth series in 2019.

The ranking by Betway, which puts Still Game at the number one spot, comes after the news that You’ve Been Framed is being axed by ITV after 33 years on the air with many left feeling like Saturday nights might never be the same again.
