Still Game creator to host 'impossible' quiz on Twitter for die hard fans

It may be set in the rival territory of Glasgow but Still Game was a hit with Scottish fans around the country.

The sitcom, which first aired back in 2002, followed the lives of the honest - and not so honest - folk of Craiglang.

And now its creator is hoping to do his bit during the coronavirus outbreak the only way he knows how: by making people laugh.

As reported by Glasgow Live, Greg Hemphill to took to Twitter last night to ask his followers whether they would be interested in taking on an "impossible" Still Game quiz for die hard fans.

Creating a poll for the masses to share their opinion, he said: "Thinking of doing an impossible Still Game quiz. For die hards only. Ye intae it?"

He wasn't disappointed, with more than 9,000 people taking part in the poll and over 90% voting in favour of the quiz.

And there's no need to worry about social distancing because Greg explained that the quiz will take place over on Twitter with 50 questions.

It's pretty simple, whoever answers correctly first gets the point.

He said: "Live on Twitter, first to answer gets awarded the question/point. 50 questions, person with most answers gets a prize. This weeds out the Googlers. If you don’t get any right, I’ll personally shout out nae points prick to you. Sound good?"

The quiz time is set to be announced this Friday, which gives you plenty of time (and the perfect excuse) to watch the Still Game episodes all over again.
