Still Game Boaby brands Boris Johnson a 'dangerous scum bucket' as Scots blast new Prime Minister

Boris Johnson is the new Prime Minister, and Scotland isn't taking it well.

After being announced the winner of the Tory party leadership contest, Scots took to social media to have their say on the former Foreign Secretary.

Who better to lead the way in the criticism of BoJo than Boaby the barman from Still Game .

Gavin Mitchell took to Twitter branding him a "clever manipulative liar, cheat and downright dangerous scum bucket".

Fair to say he didn't mince his words.

He wrote: "Can we please stop referring to him as some sort of blithering buffoon and calling him Boris, like he’s a non-threatening oaf, this man is a clever manipulative liar, cheat and downright dangerous scum bucket.",,

The Still Game legend is clearly not a fan, but what has the rest of the country been saying?

David Archibald said: "I suspect that the first person who starts selling the 'Boris Johnson is a Pure Fanny' T-shirts in Scotland will be able to retire early."

Jamie Millar wrote: "In Scotland, he’ll be referred to as a bawbag. Funnily enough, that’s also what Donald Trump is called in Scotland.

"Coincidence? You be the judge."

Christine Steven wrote on Facebook: "It started off as a BEAUTIFUL SUNNY day, until we got p***** on."

Amanda Wainwright went with a simple message to the new PM by calling him an idiot.

Norman Wilson wants to live in another country.

He said: "And we thought Teresa May was a bomb scare. Where do we apply to go live somewhere else."

John Kilbride branded Boris a "bawjaw".

He wrote on Twitter: "Whenever you hear a chum of Boris Johnson refer to “BoJo”, remind them that the correct pronunciation is “BawJaw”.
