Women in Advertising. There are a lot of them, it seems, but just not very many at the top.
Women intent on getting the keys to the executive washroom still seem to be cracking their heads up against the glass ceiling, according to a new study about the UK industry from the Institute of Practioners in Advertising.
It showed that women make up half the industry, but at the top tier of chairmen, chief executives or managing directors, only 15.1% are women.
So what, if anything, is going wrong for women in advertising?
