
Tourists stand in front of the Kankaimon gate at the fire-damaged Shuri Castle on Wednesday. The castle is still largely off-limits to visitors even though a week has passed since the blaze on Oct. 31. Police suspect that an electrical system failure caused the fire, as traces of short-circuiting have been found in wiring at the Seiden main hall, according to the relevant authorities.
