Stewartry Gymnastics Club members compete in first competition of 2019 at Kirkcaldy

Members of Stewartry Gymnastics Club took part in their first competition of the year in Kirkcaldy.

The competition attracted more than 250 gymnasts from across Scotland and was a great day for everyone involved.

For many of the younger gymnasts, who are new additions to the growing club, it was their first ever competition.

The youngsters really enjoyed the experience of performing their vault passes and floor routines.

They had some great scores and the whole day was an invaluable learning experience for them.

The 12+ team earned a bronze medal for their combined performances and Abbie Gurling from the same team took a bronze medal for her beautiful floor routine.

All of the girls are looking forward to their next competition at the end of April.
