Club gymnasts attended an Autumn floor and vault competition at Bells Sports Centre, Perth, on Saturday, October 29.
The team had a fantastic day with all of the gymnasts making huge improvements on their scores. Special mention to the 12-13 intermediate team which finished in seventh place.
In the nine years beginner category, Lexie Anderson scored 24.500, being awarded a merit and will now move up into the intermediate category. In the nine years intermediate category, Abbie McRobert finished 10th on vault.
The highlight of the day was a bronze medal on vault for Mia Kerr in the 10 years intermediate category. Mia had an accident at gymnastics back in April and had to undergo emergency surgery on her knee which meant a long period away from the sport but she worked extremely hard to get competition fit so quickly and thoroughly deserved this medal.
