Stewartry Community Sports Club recently held its first summer tennis camp for under 10s at Castle Douglas.
Coach Mike McMillin from Advance Tennis took a group of enthusiastic youngsters for three hours of activities, all tennis related.
The club will be repeating the camps on Wednesday, August 7, with the under 10s session from 9am until 12noon and the over 10s session from 1pm to 4pm. It is open to members and non-members and places can be booked by contacting Mark Sindall of Advance Tennis on 07875269073.
The club will also be holding a free come and try it session as part of the Castle Douglas Civic Week activities.
From 10am until 12noon on Thursday, July 25, the club will open its doors for youngsters and adults to come along and try tennis and racketball.
