Training partners Stewart McSweyn and Matthew Ramsden have continued their excellent European campaigns by dominating the men's 1500m at a track and field meet in Zagreb.

McSweyn won the race in three minutes 32.17 seconds on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning AEST), meaning he now owns four of the seven fastest times by an Australian over the distance.

Ramsden was third in 3:34.83, in what was his fifth personal best in six races spanning a variety of distances over the past 27 days.

To round off a brilliant showing by the Melbourne Track Club, national record holder Ryan Gregson was fifth in a season's best time of 3:35.22.

The other standout Australian performance at the Hanzekovic Memorial meet came from Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Nicola McDermott, who was equal second in the high jump with a best clearance of 1.90m.
