The inbound Stevenson Expressway reopened Monday after a water main break shut down the right lane and shoulder for several hours.
The closure, from just past Pulaski Road to California Avenue, was announced by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The left two lanes and ramps of Interstate 55 remained open, officials said. The water main is owned by the City of Chicago.
