Steven Spielberg's daughter is working as a porn star — and she claims he's supportive of her career.
Mikaela Spielberg, the director's adopted daughter who he shares with his wife Kate Capshaw, says she self-produces solo porn videos.
The 23-year-old is also hoping to land a job as a stripper once she obtains her sex worker license.
In the same interview she revealed she was sexually abused in the past and has struggled with anorexia, borderline personality disorder and alcoholism.
She says she broke the news of her new porn career to her parents over FaceTime just days ago, but they were more "intrigued" than upset.
Mikaela told The Sun: "My safety has always been a number one priority for them."
She added: "I actually think that once they see how far I've come from the bottom I was at a year and a half ago, they're going to look at this and go, 'Wow, we actually raised are really self-assured, young lady.'"
Mikaela, who is one of Spielberg's seven children, said she doesn't want to depend on her parents but to support herself financially.
But she won't have sex on camera out of respect for her fiancé Chuck Pankow, 47.
In the same interview she spoke about the abuse she suffered, saying it was not inflicted by anyone from her family or their circle of friends.
Mikaela believes the abuse contributed to her suffering mental health problems.
She added: "I was really out of control from about the age of 11 years old, even to up up to two years ago.
"So that out of control-ness only stopped pretty recently. When I was 21, I used to drink every day and that went on for like two years until I almost died a couple of times."
Mikaela has chosen the stage name Sugar Star for her porn career.
She uploaded her videos to PornHub but decided to take them down while she waits for her license.
Her fanbase is mostly older white men, she says.
