Steven Naismith will not return to Rangers this summer.
It has been speculated over the past 24 hours that the 38-year-old could become part of Russell Martin's backroom team at Ibrox, although according to The Rangers Review, that won't be the case.

Naismith has been out of work since he departed Heart of Midlothian last year. He was linked with the Kilmarnock job until Stuart Kettlewell took charge at Rugby Park a few weeks ago.
Although he made 138 Rangers appearances, Naismith won't make a return to Edmiston Drive this summer alongside Martin.
The new head coach named Matt Gill as his assistant manager, with Rhys Owen taking up the role of performance coach.
Martin officially got down to business at Rangers on Tuesday morning.
"He brings technical expertise as a coach," Martin said of Gill.
"Brilliant coach. Had to play a huge role in developing a lot of players at Norwich since he had the 21s.
"We played together very briefly and then I worked with him when he had the 21s. When I was on my way out as a player at Norwich and I realised then what an excellent coach he was and how much care he had for the players and how much they loved him.
"Guys like Max Aarons, Todd Cantwell and the Murphy twins, some brilliant players under his tutelage. And we're very different personalities, so he's a bit more calm and introverted than I am, so it's good for me and it's a good balance."
