Steven Naismith has spoken about the advice he's given Hearts teenager Aaron Hickey amid transfer speculation linking him with a host of clubs.
The 18-year-old full-back is a man in demand with Bayern Munich and Serie A side Bologna both making moves to sign him. Celtic have also been credited with an interest.
However his captain says it's important he doesn't overthink the situation, and reckons another year of first team football at Tynecastle wouldn't be the worst thing should a move fail to materialise.
Naismith told BBC Scotland: "What will happen with his future will happen
"There's no point overthinking anything at the moment; just get your head down and work hard and if he moves on he moves on.
"If he doesn't, he'll have another season of first-team football which will do him no harm."

Naismith added: "I've said to him [Hickey] a few times that if something does happen and he has a decision to make, the one he wants to take will feel right, no matter if that is the best team, the biggest team, or whatever."
Hickey's future remains up in the air and it emerged earlier this week that Celtic hadn't made a fresh offer to Hearts despite suggestion they were close to a move.
Both Bayern Munich and Bologna have given the player a tour of their facilities, and made attempts to convince him that his future lies with them.
