Barry Ferguson has rubbished talk that Steven Gerrard could leave Rangers for Crystal Palace - insisting there is "no comparison" between the two clubs.
Veteran boss Roy Hodgson looks to be heading for the Selhurst Park exit in the summer with the Ibrox boss linked with the role after claiming the Premiership title.
On the Go Football Show, host Paul Cooney claimed Gerrard was on the shortlist at Palace.
However, Rangers legend Ferguson played down the link insisting there is no way the manager would swap the newly-crowned Scottish champions for a mid-table Premier League side.

He reckons he will stay in Govan for the long-haul and add to the silverware in the Ibrox trophy cabinet.
Ferguson said: "I'm not surprised (they want him). It's clear the job he has done at Rangers has been fantastic this season with the turnaround in terms of how dominant Celtic were.
"It was a big season for him, there is no doubt, he knew he was under pressure to go and deliver and he has delivered.
"In terms of Crystal Palace, there is no comparison with Rangers. Rangers are a far bigger club.
"At some stage he will look to maybe go and try his hand down south in the Premier League, but he has only delivered one trophy so far, they still have the Scottish Cup and the last 16 of the Europa League.
"They have areal good chance of reaching the last eight. I firmly believe he will be at Rangers for a year or two.
"He will want to get a number of trophies and medals under his belt and then he may consider it is time to try his luck in English football."
