Pundit Alex Scott has hailed Steven Gerrard for changing the mentality and culture at Rangers.
The Liverpool legend was appointed in the summer of 2018 when the club were in disarray, and last weekend they won the title for the first time in a decade.
Rangers are also undefeated in this season's Europa League, something that would have been unthinkable before Gerrard's arrival.
Scott puts that down to his determination to rid the club of an "excuse" mentality - something he promised to do from the moment he walked in the door.
Speaking on Football Focus, Scott said: "Steven Gerrard knew what he wanted to do when he went in there. He said straight away that he wanted to eradicate the excuse mentality that was there.
"And he was given time, which allowed him to have that stability to implement his philosophy. He's rebuilt that club and he's done it his way."
Scott's assessment was backed by fellow pundit Carlton Cole, who had a brief spell with Celtic towards the end of his career.
Cole knows Gerrard well from his time in the Premier League and played alongside him for England.
He added that he is delighted to see his former colleague thriving, and is excited to see what comes next.
He touched on a potential return to Liverpool, but is aware the Ibrox faithful want to hear none of that for the time being.

Cole said: "Steven Gerrard's a winner and he's found his momentum now. I'm interested to see what they do next season now they've won the league.
"How are they going to build, how are they going to offer more to the fans, because the fans will be coming back in, and it's going to be a lot harder once results stop going their way.
"I'm very interested and I want to see him go on to other stuff as well. Maybe there's a chance he could go to Liverpool, but I know Rangers fans won't want to hear that.
"You never know, but he's a legend, so I just want to see how he progresses."
