Steven Gerrard's advice for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson following Champions League final success

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard had some excellent advice for his former team-mate Jordan Henderson following the Reds' Champions League final win.

The No. 14, who inherited the captain's armband in 2015 from the now Rangers boss, led Jurgen Klopp's side to a 2-0 win over Tottenham on June 1.

And Henderson is still revelling in the moment as he latest post to Instagram confirmed.

The England international shared the spine-tingling video of the moment he lifted Liverpool's sixth European cup in Madrid.

His accompanying caption read: "Yes I’m still posting 2 weeks later. What a video!"

To which Gerrard perfectly responded: "Post for life".

The 39-year-old's advice was well-received by Liverpool fans who have liked the comment more than 1,000 times.

Adam Lallana also sent an amazing response as he wrote: "Better still be posting 2 decades later!"

While left-back Andy Robertson simply commented: "What a man."
