Steven Gerrard reveals the bizarre reason he could miss Liverpool vs Man City on Sunday

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has revealed he might not be able to watch the Reds ' clash with Manchester City due to a technical fault on the Rangers bus.

Jurgen Klopp's side welcome the Premier League champions to Anfield in what is a highly-anticipated match.

The top-of-the-table clash could go some way to determining the destination of the Premier League title in May, despite it only being November.

Liverpool head into the game holding a six-point lead over their nearest Premier League rivals and have the opportunity to make that nine with a win over an injury-stricken City team.

It's a game that every Liverpool fan will be watching but club legend has revealed he may miss the game.

Gerrard revealed that there is a fault with the Sky Sports feed connecting to the Rangers coach.

The Scottish side kick-off at 3pm against Livingston on Sunday and with Liverpool not in action until 4:30pm, Gerrard has insisted he will do everything in his power to ensure he catches the second half.

Gerrard told the media at his pre-match press conference: "We've been on the back of our coach driver because there's something wrong the Sky feed and he better have it right for Sunday because I want to try and catch the second half!

"We'll do everything we can to get it on, that's for sure. What a game it will be."

Offering his thoughts on the game, Gerrard insisted that anyone would be foolish to write off Manchester City but conceded Liverpool are in a strong position heading into the match.

"They are six points ahead, that's a nice lead for where Liverpool are but you can never write Man City off.

"With a world-class manager like Pep and the quality they have in their squad you'd be very foolish to write them off because on their day they're capable of beating anyone but you'd rather be in Liverpool's position, that's for sure."
