Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has addressed rumours linking Lucas Digne with a move away from Everton.
Reports in recent days have linked the Blues left-back with a transfer away from Goodison Park, with Villa the latest team interested.
Various rumours have surfaced over Digne’s short-term future, with one report suggesting a £25million deal to take the France international to Villa could be completed.
Gerrard was speaking after Villa lost 1-0 to Manchester United in the FA Cup at Old Trafford on Monday night.

When posed a question about the possibility of signing the Everton defender, Gerrard hinted that a move could be on the cards.
"We are working hard on targets," said Gerrard.
"It is not respectful to mention any names but there is no smoke without fire and we want to try and improve certain areas of our team and our squad."
Earlier this month, Rafa Benitez confirmed that Digne has expressed a desire to leave Everton this month.
Digne has not played for Everton since the defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby at the start of December.
“I've had a couple of conversations with him, he told me what he thought,” said Benitez, about Digne.
“So what do you expect the manager to do when he's thinking about leaving?
“I will say again, fans and former players, what would Peter Reid say if a player goes to the manager he doesn't want to be here? Simple.”
