Rangers have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist as they hunt for a new manager.
With Steven Gerrard departed for Premier League Aston Villa, the Ibrox club are searching for a replacement to take over the reins in the Govan dugout.
There have been a host of names linked with the Light Blues' post, with former Gers left-back Giovanni van Bronckhorst the favourite to land the job.
He is one name on the list, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, with the Premiership champions identifying another two gaffers they want to speak to about the opening.
The likes of former Chelsea stars Frank Lampard and John Terry have been linked, as has ex-Hamilton Accies and Norwich City boss Alex Neil.
However, it appears van Bronckhorst is the clear frontrunner, with Rangers keen to talk to their former player about taking control over the weekend.
The ex-Netherlands international is keen on the role and has vast experience after a highly-successful spell managing in his homeland with former club Feyenoord - winning the league and two Dutch Cups.

However, a stint in Chinese football was less so as he spent last year struggling in the Far East with Guangzhou City.
In his playing days, van Bronckhorst turned out for the Light Blues as well as Arsenal and Barcelona, winning over 100 Holland caps in the process.
