Steven Gerrard was Rangers manager on Wednesday - but he's been replaced on the 'Welcome to Ibrox' billboards by captain James Tavernier in the space of 24 hours.
The 41-year-old has rocked headlines across the football world as he leaves Glasgow to become head coach at Premier League club Aston Villa.
It signals an end to his Ibrox reign, where Gerrard started his senior managerial career in 2018. He ended Celtic's 10-in-a-row bid and won Rangers the Premiership title last season.
They have also enjoyed success in Europe, including runs to the last 16 of the Europa League, although League Cup and Scottish Cup glory evaded Gerrard.
Despite the largely successful stint, Rangers have spared little time in erasing his face from billboards and signs around Ibrox.
By Thursday evening the club were taking down images of the departed manager, and a replacement is already in place.
Instead, title-winning captain Tavernier appears to be the leading face at the club, his image inscribed on the Welcome to Ibrox sign.
Gerrard is also set to take respected first-team coaches Gary McAllister, Michael Beale and most of the backroom team with him to Birmingham, leaving Rangers in a precarious position ahead of a League Cup semi-final against Hibs after the international break.
